Elaine Ritter Obituary
Elaine was born on March 30th, 1947, the daughter of the former Aldon Warner Granger and Edna Somerville Granger Preston. She graduated from Romulus Central School in 1965.
Elaine spent most of her life in the Seneca County area and worked in many office settings, from W.T. Grant and Co. to Don Ritter Inc. She did it all from the basic filings to keeping the books for the family business. Donald and Elaine not only ran the company, but Elaine also designed many of the houses that Donald built over the years. Elaine's last position was Clerk of Session for the Presbyterian Church.
Elaine is survived by her daughters, Tama Walker and Kara Hooper; sons, Scott (Cherie) Walker and Craig (Charlene) Hooper; step-daughters, Robin (Bill) Patalon and Samantha Ritter; grandchildren, Heather, Sara, Gary, Joey, Alexandria, and Kayla; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Karen (Thomas) Thomson and Judy Jones; brother, Peter (Sonna) Neumiester, several nieces and nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald; father, Aldon; mother, Edna; step-daughter, Ann; brothers, Gordon and Darrell.

To my grandmother, I still miss you the house is not the house ever since you left. Everyday is a struggle the conversation, laughter, we use to have. Its taking me time to get use to it. I know you are looking down on us. As the holidays are approaching it´s hurting me to know this years Christmas will be are first without you, Thanksgiving was not the same as the previous years, I still miss your cooking.
