Louis Giovannini Obituary
There will be no prior calling hours. Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Louis life on Sunday (September 13) 2:00 p.m. at the Seneca Castle Fire Department.
It is requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Seneca Castle Fire Department, 2028 Co. Rd 4, Seneca Castle, N.Y., 14547.
Louis was born on April 20, 1935 in Seneca Falls, N.Y. the son of the late Bruno and Sue Rizzi Giovannini. He graduated from Mynderse Academy in the Class of 1953. He served in the 1st Army 3rd Training Regiment, Charlie Company, at Fort Dix. Louis retired from Elderlee in Oaks Corners. He was a life member of the Seneca Castle Fire Department. Louis was a very active member of the Seneca Castle Community. He was also active in the Boy Scouts. He loved to hunt and fish. He especially enjoyed his frequent trips to the Adirondacks. He would fly in a water plane from Long Lake to Tirrell Pond where he would camp and fish.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Robert (Mary Lou) Giovannini of Seneca Falls, Bernard Giovannini of Portland Oregon, Victor (Sherry) Giovannini of Texas, Quinta (Michael) Borys of Seneca Falls, Dora Giovannini of Phelps, Eugene (Agatha) Giovannini of Canada; many nieces and nephews. Louis had a very close circle of wonderful friends, Clarence Guard, Mary and John Sherman, Rev. Babs, Ike and Elaine Duel.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eddie and son, Bruno.
