Deborah Shelburn Obituary

Deborah Lynn "Debbie" Shelburn, 65, of Dawsonville passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025 at Northside Hospital Forsyth following a period of declining health.

Born August 14, 1959, Debbie had been a resident of Dawson County for 40 years. Her life was dedicated to serving, helping, and taking care of others. She retired from Wal-Mart following an over 20 year career and was also an extremely talented cook who found great joy in feeding her family and friends. As much as she loved and cared for others, her grandchildren were her whole world.

Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Doug Shelburn of Dawsonville; daughters, Lauren Sisson (Joseph) of Ellijay, Katie Adams of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Bryson, Ashlyn, Anniston, Lilah, Grayson, Kamdyn; other relatives.

A celebration of life will be announced later.
