Silva Haney Obituary
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Margean Thompson Haney of Alpharetta; children, Lanier Haney, Lisa (Tony) Addis of Alpharetta; sister-in-law, Beatrice Haney Jankowski of Alpharetta; grandchildren, Sara (Afif) Cherif of Decatur, USMC Cpl. Brandon (Ashley) Haney of North Carolina, Daniel Addis of Alpharetta, Dylan Addis of Alpharetta; step grandson, Justin Pittman of Alpharetta; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 2, at noon in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bud Sutton, the Rev. Terry Hopkins and the Rev. Stacey Hanson officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, Feb. 28, from 3-8 p.m., Friday, March 1, from 3-8 p.m. and Saturday, March 2, from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Midway United Methodist Church, 5025 Atlanta Highway, Alpharetta, GA 30004.
