ANTHONY L. "TONY" LILLO

1949 - 2022

ANTHONY "TONY" L. LILLO, 73, of Fort Wayne, passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, Jan. 17, 2022, in Fort Wayne. Tony was born on Jan. 7, 1949, in Galion, Ohio, and moved to New Haven, Ind., when he was 13. He graduated from New Haven High School in 1967. Tony was a former owner of a contract cleaning company and was currently a semi retired employee of FlexPac as a sales associate. Tony's true passion was his love of music and playing his Hofner bass with local bands like the Surf Suns, the Tyme Banditz and later The Answer Band, and spending time with his grandsons. He also loved being at Lake Gage during the summer, walking the beaches in Florida during the winter and following IU basketball and Clevland Indians games . Tony is survived by his wife of 22 years, Joyce Lillo; son, Jason Lillo; stepdaughters, Stacie (Scott) Woodard and Carrie (Travis) Stone; stepmother, Donna Lillo; stepsiblings, Randy (Rea) Fluttrow and Lora (John) Suhrweier; and grandchildren, Carter Lillo and Walter Lillo. He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Lillo; and mother, Violet Webster.
