Eddie Clarke Obituary

EDDIE C. CLARKE, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, in Killeen. Born July 26, 1948, in Osceola, Ark., where he was educated and graduated from Rosnwald High School. He was a retired General Motors assembly worker. He served as a U.S. Marine from Sept. 24, 1968 to April 8, 1970 and a recipient of the Good Conduct Medal. Surviving are his ex-wife, Bobbie Green; two daughters, Tinikie Williams and Tanesha Beard, both of Danville, Ill.; brothers, Herman Clark and John James, both of Osceola, Ark., Tommy Thomas of Dayton, Ohio, and William Clark of Killeen; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Retna Rogers and Mavis Julius; and brother, Lonnie Julius. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday at Carmichael Funeral Service, Fort Wayne. Calling is from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial in Marion National Cemetery. Local arrangements by Carmichael Funeral Service.

To the family of my departed friend and brother Eddie Clarke, may GOD continue to bless you richly in these difficult days ahead. Eddie (motor scooter) is what I called him was infact a true friend. I am very glad to have been a part of his life. He knew the LORD very well indeed, and that we talked about his goodness all of the times. Be blessed and encouraged now family and EDDIE I'll see you later partner (motor scooter) YOU WILL BE MISSED GREATLY BUT NOT FORGOTTEN!!
