ELIZABETH WHITAKER Obituary

ELIZABETH "BETH" A. WHITAKER, 70, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021. Born Oct. 1, 1950, in Louisville, Ky. Beth was a daughter of the late Robert and Joanne (Tanselle) Taylor. She was a social butterfly and loved people. Beth had a passion for cooking, visiting the lake especially Lake Cumberland, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was well known for the Kentucky Derby parties that she would throw. Beth is survived by her husband of 50 years, Tracy Whitaker; children, Aaron (Tiff Pennoyer) Whitaker, Holly (Seth) Fogwell and Eve (Matt) Kaufman; grandchildren, Madison (Charlie) Lyon, William Allemang IV, Isabella Whitaker, Kendall Fogwell, Jacob Fogwell, and Jaxson Kaufman; sisters, Pam Moore and Vicki Taylor; and brother, Ty Taylor. A celebration of life is 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021, at Emmanuel Community Church, 12222 W. US-24, Fort Wayne (IN 46814). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Healthier Moms & Babies. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.elzey-patterson-rodakfuneralhome.com

Curves brought us together and then our luncheons when Curves left us. Beth was always so cheery and looked really healthy. So sorry to hear of her passing. We are out of state thus cannot attend her memorial. So sorry.
