Joanne Hollenbach Obituary

JOANNE LUTES HOLLENBACH, 81, of Decatur, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, at Adams Memorial Hospital. Born May 13, 1926, in Ironwood, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Homer Reace and Jennie (Eckrose). She married her first husband, Thomas K. Lutes in 1946, he died in 1972; second husband, Walter H. Gilliom in 1973, he died in 1959; and third husband, Robert W. Hollenbach in 1991; he died in 2007. She was former owner of Lutes Flowers, Decatur and prior to that was a registered nurse. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was a former board member of Decatur Cemetery Association; member of Eastern Star; life member of V.F.W. Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, Women of the Moose, Eagles Auxiliary, and the Elks Lodge. Surviving are her two sons, Kip R. Lutes and Brett H. Lutes, both of Decatur; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday at Haggard & Sefton Funeral Home, Decatur. The Rev. Laura Sherwood officiating. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in Decatur Cemetery. Memorials to First Presbyterian Church. To sign our guestbook, click on www.haggardandsefton.com
