Ted:
When you're comfortable, you should check out our Beer Show web site and listen to the show. We talked about Jack and the fly-over at the funeral and posted Jack's WWII military photo on our site. Wanted you to know, but didn't necessarily want to re-introduce pain for you. So, think about it before you share it with Cherie.
Cheers,
Dave

Cherie,
We are really sorry to hear about your dad. Our prayers will be with you
and your whole family. David & I just got back from Cabo so we are a little
late responding. Thanks for letting us know. We love you guys.

Cheri,
I am so sorry about your dad. We just arrived home from our trip to Turks
and Caicos and read your message. Please know you are in our thoughts.
Sorry we were not in town to come to his viewing. love Gayle
Dear Cherie;
We've just heard of your father's passing. Barbara and I send you our love.
I hope that what Jane told me yesterday is true, that he suffered very
little. That would be a real blessing.
We just lost Barb's dad last August, and the sweet and heartfelt moments
still come up for us.
We'll be thinking of you all.
With great affection,
Joe and Barbara
Cherie,
I'm so very sorry for your loss. From your message I assume that you
were with him and your mom at the time of his transition. I so wish that
I could be there to give you a warm embrace and to tell you how much I
understand your pain and loss.
Thank you for keeping us posted. I know that even with the emotional
preparation for the passing of someone so dear that I wasn't ready, and
I suspect that you weren't ready for your Dad to go either -- in spite
of an intellectual "knowing" that he's better off moving on.
We would love to send a memorial gift in honor of your Dad. So, when
it's convenient, please let us know where you would like it sent.
With love, Donna and Ralph

Hi Cherie,
I just wanted you to know I am thinking of you. I know that life will never be the same without your "Daddy" here on earth with you. ....But eventually the pain will be less. ........and you will begin to look forward to Heaven even more, knowing that at some point in time, Jesus and "Daddy" will be waiting there to greet you.
Love you,
Karen
Cherie - Joe and I were so sorry to hear about your Dad. You have been in our thoughts and prayers.
I made eggplant casserole and brought it to school yesterday. I was wondering if someone would be at your house after school today so I could drop it off. It has not been baked so it needs about 30 minutes in the oven. I have never tryed to freeze it , but if you don't think you will use it it the next couple of days you probably could feeze it for later. It should serve 6-8 people (or Godiva if she is into veggies!) Let me know when a good time for you would be.

And I'm holding you close from afar. I know with this diagnosis, you
knew what the outcome would be and didn't want your dad to suffer.
Still, all those rational thoughts must be hard to bring forward when
you are hurting so much. I love you and wish you strength.

Dear Cherie,
I hope these pictures bring you a smile. cherry blossoms for Cherie. We love you and are praying for you and your family.
I forgot to send the story with the monkey and dove picture. Here it is:
It's a tale straight out of Disney – an abandoned baby monkey, close to death, is revived by the love of a bird. The 12-week-old macaque was rescued on Neilingding Island, in Goangdong Province, In China, after being abandoned by his mother. Taken to an animal hospital, he was weaned back to physical health but still showed little appetite for life. It was not until a fellow patient, a white pigeon, took him under her wing and showed him love and affection that he perked up. Now the two are inseparable, say staff.
It just goes to show you that love always finds you.

How amazing, thank you for sharing your grandpa's love for bird watching
- now he's watching over all of you. When I ordered the arrangement, I
specified that it have birds in it and birds that looked real, not pink
or green or yellow :) I thought they would relate to flight which was a
large part of your grandfather's life. I'm glad I listened to my
instinct.
Keep all of your special memories of your precious grandpa close to your
heart. I know he had to be so proud of you and that you brought many
happy moments to his life.
Take care,
Sue
