We had the great pleasure of working with Lori the last few years. She always had a smile on her face. We feel as though we know her family because she often shared stories with us of the people she so loved. We are so sorry. There simply are no words. Trust she is in a better place than we begin to know.

Val and Steve, I am so sorry about your loss. You both loved Lorie so much and I'm sure you will miss her so much. Please know, that God had a plan for her and she will never be gone from your heart and memories and God only takes the BEST!!! Please know that Lorie will be with Shane and they will be looking down on you for the rest of your life, waiting for you, looking over you, smiling down on you and helping you in difficult times. We may not know what God has planed for us, but we know He does have a plan. It may not make sense to us now; our grief will tempt us to question it at times. Life on this earth is but a stepping stone along a greater journey. Some pause on that stone longer than others; some move along quickly. But at journey’s end we will all meet up again, smile at those who have arrived before us, while waiting blissfully for those yet to come. Lorie is there now, her mom and dad and others holding her in arms so warm and tight. No questions do they have, no mysteries remain. His plan is clear to them. They watch down upon us knowing that our hearts are full of sorrow, yet take comfort knowing that we have each other to lean on as we try to balance our footing on this: our stepping stone we call life. We love you, Lorie, but I think you know that. God rest your beautiful soul.
