Paul taught me just about everything that I know about preaching. His love of CS Lewis and other great Christians has helped me teach the faith to so many. Paul was one of a kind; a powerful intellect, an encouraging and challenging teacher and a compassionate disciple. His faith was contagious. So many of us Pastors owe him a great debt. We thank and love you Professor!

Paul Harms was one of God's greatest blessings to this world. His family will undoubtedly attest to his special ability to impart grace and love. As a student and resident of "Harms Zoo" at Concordia Senior College; as a mentee and colleague in ministry for decades after; as a personal friend in "mutual conversation and consolation; and as a disciple who only a couple of years ago was finally able to suggest a drama for his reading--the only one which he apparently had not read; I can find comfort today only in knowing that "our Father has received his latest living breath.. Rest well, most Reverend Father, Brother, and Beloved Friend. Sincerely, Gene Habin
