I am so sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of your mom growing up. I still remember that she taught me how to sew and supervised Linda and me making skirts. What patience! When I think of Dean I will always remember her big smile and her great laugh. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to learn of Veva's passing...I met Veva Dean when Patty and I were in high school together.....She was a sweetheart and had a wonderful sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

What a wonderful person your mother was.We shared many laughs on her front porch. Our sympathies go out to your family. She was a GREAT LADY!

Wish it were possible to covey our condolences in person but we are definitely with you in spirit. I am more than certain there is some kind of party going on "up there" with Veva and Charlie and Eddie looking in the window. Wouldn't it be fun to be able to see it?!

My prayers and thoughts to the family "May God comfort and bless you during your hours of bereavement." Your mother was a great woman (very knowledgeable about the history of the City of Fort Wayne) and she brought a lot of joy and laughter into my life. She taught me a lot.
The first day she was introduced to me, she untied a bow on my blouse and gently retied it. Her remarks to me were, "You don't tie bows very well do you?" We were friends from that date on. I will miss her.
