Danny Carroll Obituary
He was a jack of all trades with a keen sense of humor. Danny was always known for putting a smile on someone's face. He loved to play the drums and was a wonderful drummer, and he loved to watch wrestling with his father. Danny was a very kind son, brother, father, and uncle.
He is survived by his parents and his siblings Billy Carroll, Brian Carroll, and Bonnie Carroll. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: There will be a life gathering on Sunday, December 3, 2017, from 1-4 p.m., at 187 Old Dover Rd., in Rochester, N.H. All friends and family are welcome.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Salvation Army's red kettles during the Christmas season. Please go to www.taskerfh.com to sign the online guestbook.

My deepest condolences go out to you, the Carroll Family. I first met Danny several years ago at Unos and he was my friend. He later did a lot of work at my parents home, for my Dad. Danny was really good to my family, he worked hard and helped my Dad out a lot. I will miss his jokes, smiles and laughter most. My heart goes out to all the family and friends of Danny. When I married his brother Bill he was ouer best man. He was so nice making me feel welcome in my new family.
He was fun to be around . He was a great guy and so musical talented. Loved watching him on his drums. I will never forget you.

I had the joy of working with Danny at Biddy Mulligan's Irish Pub during the hay day of Pondering Judd. Danny brought laughter and joy to our work and to the music. The band would absolutely pack the place and it had everything to do with Danny's role as bartender. People loved him and his enthusiasm was contagious. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. I am grateful for the time I was given to love him.

I moved away from Dover 30 years ago but remember Danny fondly. The 2 things I remember of Danny were his smile and laugh and that is how I will honor his life. He was a good person with a good soul with a bad disease. I understand the disease of addiction because I was afflicted with it but by the grace of God, was relieved of it. Danny no longer feels the pain of life. In fact, I believe that all the souls around him right now are smiling and laughing because that's the effect Danny (not the disease) had on the world.

Danny's drumming was what first impressed me about him, but as I got to know him as a friend, there was more to his many sides than just an awesome drummer. Danny was a people person who could relate to anyone. I remember Danny as always having a joke, smile and a conversation. He will be sadly missed. My condolences go out to the Carroll family and friends. The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace.

Dan, will never forget going to Guitar center and when you got on the drums I was blown away .. could not believe how amazing you were. Was great to work with you for the summer. Just a genuine nice Humble guy.

To Aunty Doris, Uncle Red, Bonnie, Brian and Billy, I am so sorry that I can't come up with a solution to be there but I am there in spirit. It's funny how the memories of our childhood have come flooding back to me, before the troubles, before the addiction, before the pain, when Danny and I were more brothers than cousins, and we spent so much time together. I'm so glad I am part of your family and you are part of mine. Memories: The Thanksgiving dinner with the monkey head in the table, SCAT, the recordings that Danny and I used to make in the parlor, hiding from memere' and the shoe horn upstairs where she couldn't get us, sleepovers at both of our houses, Canobie Lake, York Beach, the beach wagon rides, New Year's Day dinners and camping trips. So many great memories that outweigh the rough times more recently. Danny is at peace, out of pain and misery of his addictions, that robbed him of who he truly was. Danny, who was affectionately called Danielle by my dad, returned the humor and affection by calling him Uncle Roy... They are now hanging out together, playing cards, drinking 7 & 7 and laughing at us, no longer with us. I will miss you Danny, the real Danny, cuz.

I only knew Danny for a season; he was part of my life for little more than a year. I met him at Station 319 in the fall of 2003. He was tending bar there and playing drums for Pondering Judd. His invitation to the band's annual Toys for Tots drive in December 2003 is what brought me to meet my husband.
Though our friendship was brief, the impact Danny had on my life is beyond measure. I send my deep condolences to his family and grieve his passing.

I spent a lot of time with Danny in the 90s, when he played with a local band out of Portsmouth.
He had a great sense of humor and played drums effortlessly. I was heartbroken to hear.

About 16 years ago I met Danny. I fell in love with his free spirit, sense of humor, love for music, and his love for life. He would do anything for a friend. Although our lives headed into different directions and we lost touch, my connection with the soul he was could never be defined by words, nor forgotten. Danny was a classmate of mine and I'm so sorry to hear of his struggles and his passing. I pray his family find solace in each other and in their happy memories of him. I remember him being a funny kid and I remember him doing cartooning in grade school. Our little group walked to and home from Sawyer's School together about every day. Good memories.
