Was very sorry to learn of Butch's passing. For many years, he was a close friend of my husband's. It was always nice to encounter a short visit here and there while both men were still alive. I hadn't seen him in recent years since my husband was gone. Two great people who thoroughly enjoyed each other's company, sharing stories of their military service and of their Elk lodges. Surely they are sharing some of those same stories now in the hereafter.

I’ve known Butchie for such a long time. Motorcycle rides to Ogunquit, his Exalted Ruler ceremony at the Elks, being there for my wedding (warning my husband that he had better be good to me!”) and so much more.
Most of all I’ll miss his Christmas morning phone call which he has done for the past thirty years, never missing one.
RIP Dear Friend
You are one of a kind and you will be missed.
