Carolyn Banner Obituary
Born July 9, 1948 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Lille Bell (Reese) and Eddie Buster Pearson, Sr.
Carolyn was a loving wife, mother and sister and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Petersville.
Her family wishes to thank the staff of Hospice of Frederick County and the nurses on 2C at Frederick Memorial Hospital for the loving and dedicated care given to Carolyn during her illness.
In addition to her husband, she leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Mrs. Christine E. Griffin and husband, Terrence; a granddaughter, Kennedy M. Griffin; six brothers, Eddie Jr., Jules, Wally, Gary, Ronnie, and Kenny; four sisters, Connie, Cleona, Brenda and Jacqueline; and a host of nieces, nephews, and family friends.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth W. Banner; and two brothers, Freddie and Aundred Pearson.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Ave., Brunswick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 23 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 4231 Catholic Church Rd. in Petersville with Msgr. Robert J. Jaskot officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
