Gary Lidie Obituary

Mr. Gary Lee Lidie, Jr., 47, of New Market, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016. He was the husband of Patricia Oldham Lidie. Born in Frederick on October 13, 1968, he was the son of Gary Lee Lidie, Sr., and Nancy Sexton Lidie.

Most of his life he worked in construction as a bricklayer and truck driver. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a valued member of his 12 Step Program family.

Surviving in addition to his parents and wife, are step daughters, Fawn and Skyler Skidmore, sister, Misti Lidie, three grandchildren, Jayden, Ariana and Adalise, one niece, Courtney Lidie and his special great nephew, Brayden. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins including very special Aunt and Uncle Shirley and Bill Hildebrand.

The family will receive friends for a time of sharing and remembering Gary, on Saturday, June 18, 2016, from 1 to 3 p.m., at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Interment will be private.
