Joyce was the Mother of: Dawn and husband Stuart Stein (Frederick, MD); Tracie andhusbandJohn Hovermale(Davidsonville, MD); Blake and wife Nancy Cramer (Davidsonville, MD); And the late Crystal Leis She was the Grandmother of: Jason, Nicole and Kristin Hovermale; Heather and Jeff Stein; and Madeline Cramer.

Mrs. Cramer graduated from Hood College in 1955 (Frederick);Girl Scout Leader - "Sassafrass"; Ran for House of Delegates state of MD 1973 as Democrat; Executive Director of Fred County United Way, retired 1989; Taught school- Davidsonville Elementary for one year (1965); Board member of Population Institute, Global Population Education,Inc.; Volunteered at the White House during Clinton Era (94-2001); Volunteered at the US Archives in 2001; Lovedpolitics and the Democratic Party; Was a member of the Member Red Hats; Loved taking classes at Senior Center (South County Senior Center); and a Board Member of Davidsonville Area Civic Association.

Relatives and friends may call at the Hardesty Funeral Home, P.A. 12 Ridgely Avenue Annapolis, MD 21401 on Sunday April 15, 2012 from 1- 2 PM where a service will be held at 2:00 PM. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at later date.
