Karen Kelly Obituary

Mrs. Karen Lillian Kelly, 63, of Frederick, went to heaven on Jan. 6, 2008.--She was surrounded by her loving family, who will miss their "Honey Baby" dearly.--

She was born in Berkley, Calif., on April 19, 1944 and was the daughter of Alfred and Gladys Schneider.-- Her brother, Duane, preceded her in death.--She will be eternally missed by her husband, Lee, of 12 short years, and her children (from a previous marriage to Jerry Hartley), Terri, Kevin and his wife, Oneida, and Cynthia and her husband, John; grandchildren, Phillip, Jackie, Silas, Sarah, Scott, Hannah, Faith, and Isabella.

Karen was a shining example of charity and Godliness; hers was a gospel centered and compassionate life. She brought a touch of the Lord's beauty to everyone who was blessed to have known her. She trusted in the providence of God until the end, certain that life and death were the necessities of the Divine glory.----

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 10, at Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, Middletown.
