Stephen Goff Obituary
Born September 16, 1938 in Johnstown, PA, he was the son of the late Stephen and Mary Goff Sr.
Steve is survived by his daughters, Mollie Goff, Stephanie Sabine and husband Henry and Stacey Hobbs and husband Paul, grandchildren, Colin Crampton, Ethan Sabine, Grace Sabine, Olivia Hobbs and Matthew Hobbs, ex-wife, Evelyn Goff, and siblings Sue Longsinger and Ronald Goff along with several nieces and nephews including his nephew and good friend, Gary Toms.
The family will receive friends from 11:00AM to 12:00PM, on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701. Rev. Edward Hartman will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Bethel Cemetery, Smithsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979, or University of Maryland School of Medicine, 31 S. Greene Street, 3rd Floor, Baltimore, MD 21201.

I knew Steve my whole life and most of the family I have memory of him always being kind to us kids. I remember when I fell off my bike in front of his cabin and he helped wipe the blood off my knees and walked me home. He and my Dad were good buddies. I express sympathy for your loss.

Our sincere condolence to the family from Billy and Linda Creager Billy has so many fond memories with Steve hunting and fishing and every time Billy would visit he would bring Steve packs of fish to put in the freezer and every time Steve would say thank you so much I was on my last pack of fish. My he fish the the waters of heaven

I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I worked at the One Stop about 15 years ago from the ages 14-16 and he was my all time favorite customer. He always brightened my day and I looked forward to him coming in to the store. As soon as i saw his ranger pull up, with his camo hat on, I used to race him to get his Milwaukee's Best to the counter before he got all of his other items. He would even hang around for a while to make sure I was safe when questionable people came in when I was working alone. He was truly a great guy and will be missed.
