Tracey Neff

Ms. Tracey Lynn Neff, 42, of Frederick, died Saturday, Aug. 10, at her home.

Born April 6, 1960, in Charles Town, W.Va., she was the daughter of Carleen Kelican Mort of Frederick, and Ronald Moray Neff of Hagerstown.

Ms. Neff was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Frederick.

She was a 1978 graduate of Middletown High School, graduated from Frederick Community College and attended Shepherd College, Shepherdstown, W.Va.

She enjoyed sketching, painting in watercolors and oils and making a variety of crafts.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by three daughters, Samantha Poffenberger, Jessica Poffenberger and Erin Poffenberger, all of Frederick; two brothers, Tyler Neff of Middletown, and Randy Neff and wife Laurel of Haymarket, Va.; maternal grandmother, Helen Kelican of Charles Town; paternal grandmother, Ruth Vetter Neff of Moorefield, W.Va.; stepmother, Doreen Neff of Hagerstown; and one niece, Natasha Hose of Hagerstown.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Ernest Mort; maternal grandfather, Roy Kelican; and paternal grandfather, Wilmer Neff.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, with the Rev. Douglas E. May, chaplain of the Frederick Police Department, officiating.

Inurnment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
