Barbara Nash Obituary

Barbara Stone Nash

Barbara Stone Nash, 80, of Stafford passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Mary Washington Hospital.

After graduating from Stafford High School, Barbara was a practical nurse at Mary Washington Hospital. She then attended Smithdale Massey Business School in Richmond and went on to work as an administrative assistant at Quantico until she married Max. Barbara later opened Plants 'n Things Greenhouse.

She is survived by her daughters, Christie Conrad (David) and Karen Main (Ryan); granddaughters Madison and Lillian Main; and brother Kenneth Stone.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Maxwell Nash, Jr.; and parents John L. and Eva B. Stone.

A service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at St. Matthias United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Matthias United Methodist Church.
