David loved the stock market. We would sit near each other after a wonderful breakfast at the Breakers Hotel and talk money. He loved his MLP"S and was very generous in sharing his winners with me.
David and I were long time vacationers at our lovely Medici style Hotel in Palm Beach Florida. I had been coming for twenty years and David and Deena were there for over 30 years. I don't remember maybe more. The sun was shinning and he was proudly wearing his Michigan hat to protect his head some of the time. When I saw the big M I knew David was there.
We sat in large white rocking chairs, facing a manicured, green lawn where some played croquet every once in a while, children were squealing with happiness, proud parents watched and we talked of the stock market. Life was good, we loved the Breakers and one thing we knew The Breakers loved us. Loved us for being so loyal.
As the season ended in early May and we had already been enjoying this most splendid place for six months. We both knew one thing for sure we would be back. when I returned last year I looked for David. He had gone to a better place and I missed him. The breakers would never be the same without him.

Dear Ms. (Deena) Fishman,
Please forgive my intrusion. I'm searching for Martin (Marty) Deutch, a great friend at Olivet College in the 60's. If I recall correctly, his father owned Paul's Cut Rate Pharmacy in Detroit. Making him your brother? If true, would you be so kind as to let him know I want to contact him. Nothing urgent, just thinking about valued old friends while closed down for this pandemic.
Thank you very much,
Walter (Buzz) Luttrell

We have spent 20 winters seeing David at the Breakers Hotel...talking to him about the stock market, Michigan basketball and just being friendly. David loved to sit in the sun after breakfast wearing his cap with a big M. He was a remarkable man and we will miss him this year, Love to Dina and our sympathies to her and the family.
