I adored Phyllis. I was in DAR with her in Clearwater, but was first introduced to her at a Wellsley Alum Group meeting I attended with my sister-in-law Anne Watkins. What a ball of fire. She was 15 years my senior and could run rings around me. I will so miss her enthusiastic spirit. She was always the first person I looked for at DAR meetings. She will be missed.

At Church of Ascension, sitting in a pew before services started, Phyllis played our Carillon bells, which told me that she was in the area and I would see her at DAR. I enjoyed sitting next to Phyllis at DAR luncheons because she always had a story to tell and was always laughing. I will miss her and all the joy she brought to everyone around her.

Phyllis was a faithful associate member of the Clearwater Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution. She played the piano for our meetings and gave informative music moments, teaching us about a hymn or patriotic song. It was a pleasure to to know her. I will miss Phyllis at meetings. I wish to offer my condolences tot he family. Phyllis was a gem.

Dave & I had the privilege of knowing Phyll at church in Clearwater, where she inspired the Carillon Guild with her love of music and in her association with the Clearwater DAR Chapter, where she enthusiastically shared her knowledge about songs and played the piano for our meetings during the winter. She was a wonderful inspiration and will be greatly missed.

Phyllis enthusiastically shared her love of the carillon with many of us. We enjoyed having her join the Ascension Guild in the winter each year and I will miss hearing her quick steps up the stairs on Sunday mornings.

Having known her as one of my dear friend's mother since 8th grade, Mrs. Webb will be missed. She was always welcoming, encouraging, generous and a good wife and mother to her 5 children. Extremely talented as well! We could have used her in our Harper Lake "productions". Always fun to see her at Sally or Sally & Chris' plays in Lapeer in more recent years. Linda

With deepest sympathy to the Webb family. Your mom was a very bright light in a lot of lives. Mine included. She was the only substitute teacher I behaved for. She had such joy for music and education. I have very warm and fond memories from band camp and school. God Bless you all.
