Gerald "Jerry" C. Moos, 66, of Fremont died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, at his home.
Jerry was born July 15, 1948, in Norfolk to Ernie and Marie (Daussion) Moos. He moved to Fremont as a boy and was a 1966 graduate of Fremont High School. Jerry married Dorothy Ishmiel on Sept. 15, 1989, in Fremont. He owned and operated Pest-Trol from 1988 until his health forced him to retire.
He was a member of the Fremont Masonic Lodge and Two Rivers Model Railroad Club. He collected antique gas pumps, enjoyed carpentry work and his CanAm. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and friends.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Dorothy; son, Anthony (and wife, Kristen) Moos of Fremont; daughters, Christy (and husband, Brian) Fink of Gilbert, Ariz., Shannon (and husband, Scott) Kehm of Lincoln, Brandy (and husband, Cory) Ladehoff and Wendy (and husband, Aaron) Rix, all of Fremont; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gordon Moos.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at First Lutheran Church in Fremont. The Rev. Scott Jensen will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service time Monday at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Fremont.
Memorials may be directed to the family for a designation at a later date.
