Hettie Eva Parker Harrison

HETTIE EVA PARKER HARRISON Hettie Eva Parker Harrison, age 85, died on February 8, 2003, in Capistrano Beach, CA. She was born on September 7, 1917, in Cheyenne, OK. Hettie lived in Fresno, CA, for over 40 years and was employed for 20 years by the Fresno Unified School District. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley W. Harrison; her parents, George and Eva Parker; five sisters; and a brother. Survivors include her sons, Gary Harrison of Grass Valley, CA, and Bill Harrison of Laguna Niguel, CA; grandchildren, Lora Lee Troxell, Debbie Wilson, Mark Harrison, Alicia Harrison, Ryan Harrison, and Craig Harrison, and nine great-grandchildren. Hettie was a loving mother and grandmother and devoted the years following her husband's death, a Bullard High School administrator, to her family, work, church and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 2435 N. Thesta, in Fresno, CA, on Wednesday, February 12, 2003, at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be at Belmont Memorial Park. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, remembrances be made to the ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) Bay Area Association, 140 Geary St. 4th Floor, San Francisco, CA94108.
