Anyone who knew "Dad" knows what a truly spirited, kindhearted, patient, down to earth, generous and genuinely gracious person he was. Having the privilege of becoming part of the family, I instantly noticed how "quiet" and lonely it was last night, without his presence. Although he will be forever missed, knowing that he is now in Buddha's land and has joined others in renewed health, is of great comfort. After each family get together, my mother always said "Kenji is so omoshiroi" and I know he is making her laugh once again.

In gassho,

Kathi Tanouye
