Kenneth Coyle Obituary

On Monday, September 28, 2009 at the age of 34, Ken peacefully passed away, after a courageous battle with cancer, with his family at his side. He fought till the very end with a strength to survive for his family, until he felt that he could help them more by being an angel to watch over them from above. When a friend was needed whether it be for an ear to listen, or to share a laugh or a tear, Ken would always be there. He could always be counted on to be there, he wasn't just a friend, he was a best friend. Ken was born on December 19, 1974 in Fresno, the youngest of six children and was raised in a busy Irish Catholic family, nicknamed one of the Rotten Rolos along with brother Jim, who was always at his side. Ken had an amazing ability with computers that was a true gift, leading him to work at San Joaquin College of Law for the last ten years as the I.T. Director. There he made many friends that have shown their love and support for Ken during his recent fight with cancer. With love and laughter, Ken will be in our thoughts and prayers. Remembering his quick sense of humor, and his loyalty to those he loved. Ken was beloved by many and best friend to all. Ken is welcomed in heaven by his mother, Darlene Mae; father, Robert Joseph; brother, Edward; and sister-inlaw Lisa. He is survived by Bob Coyle, Michelle Frontani, John Coyle, Jim Coyle, Lori Coyle, Jennifer Coyle-Brooks, Charles Brooks, Deanna Coyle, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at Farewell Funeral Service on Wednesday, September 30, 2009, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Thursday, October 1, 2009, 10:00 a.m. Interment follows at St. Peter's Cemetery. I'm deeply saddened to hear about Ken. My heart goes out to you all during this time. Ken was truly a wonderful man, he had the biggest heart of anyone I've ever met. I'll never forget being 13yrs old & just moving to CA. I was so scared of a new school, new people etc. Ken was one of the 1st people I met, he was so kind & friendly. Ken befriended me at one of the scariest times of my life and for that I will always be thankful & blessed that the good Lord brought him into my life. I will always admire his kindness, generosity,& willingness to befriend everyone he met.
Ken- you will always be remembered as the guy who was always there for anyone who needed him. The one who befriended others, made them feel welcome. You are far more than a friend, brother, son, uncle you are an ANGEL!!
