Dear Opal,
I was very sad to learn of your family's loss. Bob was always generous to me and my family. He was always fair and honest, even when I had wished he wasn't so honest. You always new he would take a candid approach, I truly respected him for that. I apologize in advance that I will not be able to attend the services. I will be flying home from Washington DC on Friday, I will come see you then.
God Bless,
Mark McNabb

Dear Opal and Family,
I came across this quote and thought of you:
"Perhaps
stars are really openings in Heaven
where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us-
to let us know they are lovingly held in the hands of God."
~Anonymous
May you know our hearts, prayers and thoughts go out to each of you on the passing of Bob. He is warmly remembered by all!
Huge hugs,

Aunt Opal, Robby, Kathy, Karen and Gary: Mark and I were very saddened to hear about Uncle Bob's passing. Of course, all is well for him as he is with the heavenly father, and with his family who have paved the way before him. For you, a difficult process is beginning and your memories will bring you sadness, and much comfort. I know it sounds strange but allow those memories to rush in, even though they may be painful. It is Bob's way of encouraging you to forge ahead with your lives. I have fond memories of Bob and our many conversations - of course, he certainly had an opinion about pretty much everything! One of my fondest memories of him was when we spent Thanksgiving at your house - Bob and I were indulging in the "wine" bar in the garage, talking about the food we loved - and I'm pretty sure we solved the world's problems! I am very sorry that I can't be there with all of you, but I know Mark, John, Susan and the rest of the family will be there by your side. Be assured that you are in my thoughts, my heart, and my prayers and if there is anything...anything we can do for you, let us know.
All my love - Jill
