Cynthia Bartley Obituary

Cynthia D. Bartley, 70, of Lafayette, Ind., passed away on October 7, 2023 at I.U. Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette. She was born February 12, 1953 in Frankfort to the late Virgil Blaine Godsey and Marietta (Parker) "Godsey" Wethington.

Cynthia was a 1971 graduate of Frankfort High School. She was a 1972 graduate of Indiana Vocational Technical College as a medical assistant. She began her career at the former Arnett Clinic as a medical transcriptionist and advanced through the ranks to quality control and then in physician recruitment. She retired in 2018 from I.U. Health Arnett after 40 years of service. Cynthia enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her two grandsons.

Cynthia will be forever missed by her daughter: Juli (Dan) Vanderkleed of Battle Ground, IN, sister: Audrey (Bob) Trusz of Toledo, OH, grandsons: Bryce & Blake Vanderkleed of Battle Ground. Cynthia was a loving aunt to Greg (Krista) Trusz of Columbus, OH and Sarah (Ryan) Miller of Toledo, OH
