Robert "Robbie" Lee Crew II, 38, of Scircleville, passed away on June 18, 2023, while surrounded by his family. Robbie was born Aug. 7, 1984, in Adair County, Kentucky, to Robert Lee Crew and Karen Lincoln. He married Courtney Parker on June 15, 2019. She survives.
Robbie was a veteran of the Iraq war and served for almost a decade in the Indiana Army National Guard as a Military Police Officer. After his service to the United States, Robbie stayed in his hometown and started a family with his wife, Courtney. His family was the focus of his everyday life. If you wanted to find Robbie, it would not be hard; you just had to look for one of the kids, and he would be right there beside them. His children, Noah, Gabriella, and Camille, were his light and his life. There are a ton of titles that Robbie could have been called like Veteran, Brother, Son, handyman, or even jack of all trades, but the title that filled him with the most joy was Dad.
Robbie was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Crew, and his brother, Shawn Michael Crew. Robbie is survived by his wife, Courtney Parker-Crew of Scircleville, and children, Noah Crew, Gabriella Crew, and Camille Crew; mother; Karen L. Lincoln of Brandywine, MD; stepmother, Tiffani Lucas of Scircleville, IN; sisters, Michelle (Crew) Dalton of Aurelia, IA, Maria (Crew) Tichinel of Mount Savage, MD and Elizabeth (Hafer) Holt of Cumberland, MD, brothers, Bechel Crew and Trevor Crew of Scircleville, IN; as well as twelve nieces and nephews, six great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and many more cherished loved ones.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 25, from 4 p.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life at 6 p.m. at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. The Celebration of Life will be a chance to share memories and stories of Robbie. Military rites will be performed by the Clinton County Honor Guard.
