Spartanburg, SC - Gladys Mabry Lowe, 77, of 8105 Daniel Court, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 18, 2025 at her residence.
Born in Spartanburg, she was the widow of the late Joseph "Joe" Floyd Lowe and daughter of the late Hoyle Mabry and Elsie Hicks Mabry. She retired from the Spartanburg County Department of Health and Environmental Control and was a member of Una First Free Will Baptist Church. She loved her family, crafts and sewing.
Surviving are two sons, Joseph Lowe, Jr. (Leah) and Johnny Lowe, both of Spartanburg; a daughter, Lynde Bledsoe of Leesville; a sister Brenda Potter of Gaffney; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Lowe, a sister, Ruby Johnson and three brothers, Larry Mabry, Bobby Mabry and Bill Mabry.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at Una First Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:30PM at the church with Pastor Kenneth Cash and Pastor Wes Campbell officiating. Interment will be private for the family in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
