Gaffney, SC - Mittie Sue Brown Crowe, 86, of 167 Bridges Farm Road, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
Born in Clifton, she was the wife of the late Samuel Howard Crowe and daughter of the late Johnny Brown and Nellie Carr Brown. She retired from Oxford Industries, loved her family, cooking and crocheting, and was a member of Christian Heights Baptist Church.
Surviving is a son, John Edward Crowe of Gaffney; six daughters, Ann Benton (Wayne), Brenda Henderson, Donna McGinnis, Cher Harris, Christy Crowe, all of Gaffney, and Jean Moore (Tim) of Blacksburg; twenty grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicki Humphries, two sons, Ronnie Crowe and Ben Crowe, and three sisters, Mary Harris, Mildred Porter and Opal Owens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 21, 2025 in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend H. K. Moore and Reverend Joe Mac Sparks officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at their respective homes.
