Andy Crabb Obituary

CRABB, ANDY S., 83 Homosassa, FL - Andy S. Crabb, 83, of Homosassa died Tuesday morning April 10, 2007 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Citrus Care Center. He was born July 25, 1923 to Robert R. and Minnie (Pantley) Crabb in Bloomfield Florida and came to Citrus County 35 years ago from Wiersdale, Fl. Mr. Crabb was the Owner Operator of Masons Concrete Block and Ready Mix Company. He was a World War II, US Air Force Veteran, a member of the Kiwanis Club of Central Ridge Crystal River, a member of the West Citrus Elks Lodge, he belonged to the Springs Masonic Lodge #378 F&AM, Scottish Rite, York Rite, Morroco Temple Shrine, Ocala and Citrus Shrine Clubs and was a member of the Crystal River United Methodist Church. He was preceeded in death by his son Myles Crabb on August 6, 1992. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Mrs. Frances Crabb of Homosassa, a son Andy Skip Crabb and wife Belinda of Homosassa, a sister Mrs. Dorothy Heald of Eiustis, grandchildren Travis and Robert Crabb and Angelina Brickensteine, great grandchildren Kirsten and Jordan Brickensteine. The memorial service for Andy S. Crabb, 83, of Homosassa will be conducted Saturday April 14, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Crystal River United Methodist Church with Rev. David Gill presiding. Arrangements are under the direction of Strickland Funeral Home, Crystal River. In lieu of Flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Crystal River United Methodist Church Building Fund 4801 N. Citrus Avenue Crystal River, FL 34428.
