I had fond memories of Yozy as I called him. One day I stopped by his office and chatted with him. He was so greateful as he had nothing to do and thanked me for coming to rescue him from boredom. We started talking about Turkey and I added my time that I had spent there while in the Navy. We pulled off a piece of desk calendar and he drew a map of Turkey to aid our discussion. What a wonderful time we had that day! I will never forget that map of Turkey! I admired and loved him. I am saddened by his passing.

Dr. Yozgat was my friend for the past 14 years. He was always concerned about what was going on in my life, as well as my Mom and the double J's as he called them (my daughter & son-in-law)..... it was a privilege to share life with him. I will miss his frequent calls and our times of laughter. My sincere and heartfelt sympathy to Kim and Rizan and their families. Darla Greer
