Chew-Ying Shrestha Obituary

SHRESTHA, CHEW-YING "NANCY" CHEE, 56 Gainesville- Nancy Shrestha passed away at home on May 15, 2007 at the age of 56. She was born in Mallacca, Malaysia on March 21, 1951. Before moving to Gainesville in 1986, she attended schools in London where she met her husband. She came to the US in 1980 and was naturalized as a US Citizen in 1991. Nancy dedicated herself to her work as a registered nurse for over 30 years. She was always known for her charisma and generosity to others around her. Her heart was her strongest attribute that carried her and her family through the years. She is survived by her husband, Ramesh Shrestha; son Kris Shrestha; and daughter, Veena Shrestha. A celebration of life will be held in her memory at UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST FELLOWSHIP, 4225 NW 34th St., Gainesville, FL, (352) 377-1669 on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at 9 am. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Meadows Funeral Home, Cemeteries, and Crematory.

My deepest sympathy to your family Ramesh,Chris and Veena. Nancy was a lovely person. I am grateful to have met her at several the Dewitt family gatherings.

I recently came across some old photos of Easter '93 when Monica and Bon hosted the egg hunt. Good Memories! Keep those close during this time.
