DRAKE, DAVID
David Drake, age 62, husband of the late Mary Ann Drake, Concrete Finisher, peacefully left this earthly scene on Monday, January 9, 2017, at his residence (in Gainesville).
The Homegoing Celebration will be held 11:00AM Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Banks ChapelChurch of God in Christ (Hainesworth, FL) with Reverend Charles Spidell delivering the Eulogy. Burial will follow at Newnansville Cemetery (Alachua, FL). Mr. Drake will be viewed at the Funeral Home on Friday 2:00-7:00PM - At the Church on Saturday 30 Minutes prior to the Services - And with the Processional. The Procession will form at Mr. Drakes' residence, 1904 NE 3rd Ave, Gainesville, at 10:00AM.
Those left with cherishing memories are his sons - David Maxwell Drake of Jacksonville, FL and Christofer Reeves of Gainesville, FL; step sons - Rodney Thompson and Darus Thompson of Gainesville, FL; 3 grandchildren; sister - Clementine Miles of Largo, FL and Jeanette Ricks of Orlando, FL; an uncle; nieces and nephews; cousins; & friends.
