DENNIS LANGFORD Obituary
DENNIS LAWRENCE
Dennis Lawrence Langford, 72, of High Springs passed away May 12, 2018.
Mr. Langford was born February 27, 1946 to the late Clarence and Edna Langford in High Springs, where he was a lifelong resident. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and worked as a farmer for most of his life. Mr. Langford was a member of the Gilchrist County Sportsman Association and the High Springs Seventh-day Adventist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Mr. Langford is survived by his wife of over 46 years Jacalyn Langford, his son Jeremy Langford (Shannon) of High Springs, his brothers Dale Langford and Samuel Langford, his sisters Madeline Elizabeth, Norma Jean, Gail Thomas, and Karen Avinger, his grandchildren Layla, Jacob, and Maddie, and several extended family members. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Langford and Harold Langford, and his sister Mary Louise.
Funeral services for Mr. Langford will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in the King Chapel at Camp Kulaqua in High Springs, with Pastor Steve Odessa and Pastor Todd Troyer officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery outside of Alachua. The family will receive friends at the Summit Baptist Church in High Springs Monday evening from 6:30 - 9:00 PM.
