Edward Galloway Obituary
Edward "Kenny" Galloway, Jr. passed away June 26, 2011 at the Gainesville Health Care Center. Mr. Galloway was a member of Greater Bethel A.M.E. Church where he served as a Choir member. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Class of 1965.
He is survived by his children; Edward K. Galloway, III, Kendra Galloway, Edwennia Galloway-Britt (Cliff), all of Gainesville, FL, Kenessa Galloway, VA, Tamara Galloway, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, LaTonya Galloway, Atlanta, GA, brother; Donald W. Galloway, Ocala, FL, and ten grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Galloway will be held 11:00am, Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Greater Bethel A.M.E. Church, Rev. Carl Smith, officiating; burial will follow in Patterson Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Chestnut Funeral Home, Inc., 18 N. W. 8th Avenue, Gainesville, FL.
Mr. Galloway will repose in the Chestnut Memorial Chapel on Friday, July 8, 2011 from 2-7pm, and on Saturday at the Church from 10:00am until the hour of service. Family and friends are asked to meet on Saturday at the home of his daughter, Edwennia Galloway-Britt, 2117 N. E. 13th Ave., Gainesville, FL, at 10:15am to form the cortege.

I don't know what I'm going to do with my spare time now knowing I don't have you to run out and check on during my weekends,lunch breaks and etc. But I will say it's great knowing your no longer enduring any pain. I still have some things of yours that I find myself pulling out from time to time thinking of you and realizing how much I already miss you. It was great getting to know who you really are as these months flew us by I just wish the circumstances were better and we had a little more time with one another. But god makes no mistakes so until next time daddy I love you.
