EVAN BOLTON Obituary

BOLTON, EVAN
Evan Bolton, a life long resident of Alachua County, died unexpectedly on Tuesday March 28th 2017 at the age of 13 at home in his bed.
Evan was born at North Florida Regional Medical Center on August 26th 2003 to Adam Bolton and Jenna Bolton. He had been a student at Oak Hall School, Hidden Oak Elementary and currently enrolled at Kanapaha Middle School in 7th Grade.
Evan was a kind and gentle person. He was sensitive to everyone around him and was friendly, loving, giving and was well liked by everyone lucky enough to meet him. He loved the water and the ocean. His favorite place was at the beach playing in the waves. After school he could be found kicking a soccer ball in the alley behind his house or with friends in the open spaces of Town of Tioga. He spent many days with his father kite-surfing, boogie or skim boarding, and he would sleep in a hammock outside on his family's sailboat on weekends. He recently started a fish tank with his Mother and found the fish to be very fascinating and enjoyable.
He was very intelligent and was an avid audiobook listener with science fiction and fantasy novels being his favorite genres. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved joking around with anyone willing to share a laugh.
Evan is survived by his father Adam Bolton, his mother Jenna Nelson, his sister Trinity Bolton; his step-mother Kara Bolton, his step-father Mark Nelson; his step-brother Tyler Sutton; his step-sister Cheyenne Sutton; his grandparents Herb and Mary Ann Bolton, Deanna and Jackson Watkins, Auburn and Gail Norris; his great grandmother, Margot Doehring; his uncles Bryce Bolton, Richard Toole, Trenton Toole and William Toole his Cousin Tina Dente Wehner and great aunts Mary Pickard and Donna Harnett and great uncle Bill.
A memorial service to celebrate Evan's life will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church located at 4000 NW 53rd Avenue in Gainesville on Sunday, April 9th at 6:00 pm. The memorial service can be viewed live online by visiting trinitygnv.org and clicking on the 'Worship' tab'. A catered reception will follow immediately at the church. Flowers are appreciated and donations to a scholarship fund for construction students in Evan's memory may be made by contacting Margie Krpan at the Builders Association of North Central Florida, [email protected].

My brother was in the same group as him in his last field trip, and they were pretty close friends. I can confirm that Evan was a great guy.

Felt bad for this kid. Found it on my school bench's at my school. For anyone who’s friends with Evan hope you are doing okay. Found out my school made a set for him and carved his name onto it. Heard he was a sweet kid from my history teacher.

I can't be there in person but I will listen in. I'm glad that my sister Margie, Evan's grandmother, did not have to go through the grief of losing him. She loved following him on Facebook and would have been devastated by his loss. Now they are together in heaven. My love to you all!
