LISA ASBELL Obituary
We are extremely saddened to announce the passing of Lisa Lynn Asbell, 40, on March 14, 2013 at Haven Hospice after a long battle with liver disease.
Those of you who knew her know that Lisa was a bright light filled with love and laughter.
Lisa leaves behind her mother, Ellen Underwood, half-brothers David Underwood and Clint Asbell, father Cecil Asbell, step-father Dickie Underwood, aunt Mary Sapp, her beloved Gerry King and many other friends and family.
A celebration of life memorial will be held Sunday, March 24th, 2013 at Skylab Recording Studios, 2106 NW 67th Place, Gainesville, FL at 1:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd., Gainesville, FL 32606.

Still think of you often Lisa...Thank you again so much for making those few years with you at Fort Clarke so meaningful & fun. I have kept in touch with so many of my former students through these years. I am truly blessed that our paths crossed while you were here in this earthly realm. Much love to you and your family. My name is Jason Osteen. I just found out very recently that Lisa passed away seven years ago. I had not seen her in many many years. But Lisa was a good friend of mine a long time ago at Ft. Clarke Middle School. We sat side by side in Mrs. Bozemans home economics class in seventh grade the last period of the day. She always looked after me and made sure my projects were done correctly and safely. We had a blast in there together. No matter what kind of day I was having I knew at the end of the day I was gonna end the day good because she could always brighten my day with that infectious smile and personality that she had. So whoever reads this whether it be friends of hers or family know that Lisa had a big effect on me sometime ago but I have never forgot her. Thanks you and may god bless you.

Ellen, I'm so sorry to hear about Lisa. I just found out today from someone at work. We'll always have the memory of the "Shinettes" and what a lovely person she was. Please accept mine and Don's heartfelt condolences.

Lisa, I worked with you at The Village and you were always my "go to" model for photography class. I remember you always smiling, laughing and being the free spirit that you are. We've known Lisa since 6th grade and we graduated from high school together. From the day we met her she never changed!
