My condolences condolences to the Leacock Family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Dr. Bob was a good man. I worked with him in the AAC at UF. He was a good friend. We talked and laughed a lot. He will be missed.

I did not know Dr. Leacock but wanted to express my sincere condolences for your loss. My sister passed away on March 3 after a long battle with progressive supranuclear palsy, so I empathize with what your family has been going through. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and I pray for God's grace and comfort now and always.

I am so sad to hear about Dr. Leacock. I worked with him in the Astronomy Dept. for many years. He was my favorite professor. One thing I remember most is when he had to tell me that I had to remove a poster of Danny Wuerffel with his Heisman trophy and the national trophy that I had on the wall at my desk. One of the professors complained to the chairman and he asked Dr. Leacock to tell me. Well, he did and he also offered a solution. When you came into the main office, you looked directly into his office. He had two windows in there, so he put my poster up between the two windows. Then everyone could see it when they came in. He also had the secretaries to his home for lunch several times, which was always delicious. He was a man of many talents and loved his cats. I have many fond memories of him. God bless all of you and prayers for you now and in the future.
