Gainesville - Warren Richard Steffen, Gainesville, FL, born October 3, 1938, died on July 4, 2015. He owned and operated Steffen Auto Repair in Gainesville, FL from 1975 until 2010.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife of 55 years, Judith Sheldon Steffen, 3 children, Janelle (Dan) Heumann, Jacksonville, FL, Darin (Linda) Steffen Gainesville, FL, Ryan (Machelle) Steffen, Gardendale, AL, and 9 grandchildren, Paul, Eric and Kaitlyn Heumann, Samantha, Sarina and Sierra Steffen and Blake, Ryleigh and Jaxon Steffen, one brother, Lloyd Steffen, Lakefield, MN; three sisters, Gretchen Wendel, St. Peter, MN, Bernice Tusa, Sherburn, MN and Delores Steffen, Lakefield, MN, as well as numerous family and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, Harry and Rose Steffen, four brothers, Eugene Steffen, Harlan Steffen, Paul Steffen (infant), Vernon Steffen (infant) and one infant sister.
Viewing will begin at 9:00AM, Funeral at 11:00AM with reception to follow, all at First Lutheran Church, 1801 NW 5th Avenue, Gainesville, FL on Thursday, July 9, 2015. Burial will follow in Keystone Heights Cemetery.
