WILLIAM CUTHBERT Obituary
Hawthorne - A 1978 graduate of Hawthorne High School, member of Gordon Chapel Community Church, Public Water Works Director - City of Hawthorne, departed this earthly life December 18, 2016. Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Hawthorne High School Auditorium. Burial will be in Gordon Chapel Cemetery, Hawthorne, FL. Viewing on Friday 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at PINKNEY-SMITH FUNERAL HOME 21400 SE Hawthorne Rd, Hawthorne, FL and Saturday 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm at HHS Auditorium. No viewing after eulogy. The cortege will form 12:15 pm at Mr. & Mrs. William J. Cuthbert home.
Survived by his loving wife, Virginia Cuthbert, Gordon Chapel, FL; devoted mother, Elree Cuthbert, Gordon Chapel, FL; 3 children, Jerome Wilson, Tarpon Springs, FL, Virginia Jones, Orlando, FL and Tellas Barnum, Gainesville, FL; 2 grands he raised, Tamara Walker and Larance Scott; 3 brothers, Michael (Sheryl) Rutledge, Phil Cuthbert, and Stanley (Rosetta) Cuthbert, all of Gordon Chapel; a sister, Valencia (Rev. Albert) Mann; and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.

Daddy I miss you so much. I think about you ALL the time. Things aren't the same and never will be! I lost my Granny and the next best thing to her my Daddy(YOU) I could talk to you about anything and never hear it again you always loved me right or wrong you always had my back and would do anything for me, most of all Daddy you were my BEST FRIEND.
