Gertie Charles Obituary
Survivors include son, Arnold Hanchett of Houston, Texas; daughters, Ann Marie Hanchett-Mims and Geraldine Hanchett-Wilson, both of Beaumont, Texas, and Sherry Hanchett-Harris of Stone Mountain; brother, Samuel Charles of Houston, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Kennedy Memorial Gardens, Ellenwood with the Rev. Jerry D. Black officiating. Viewing will be held Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, from noon to 7 p.m. at Donald Trimble Mortuary, Decatur.
Dexter T. Sims Mortuary, LLC, of Royston has charge of arrangements.
