Carla Anderson Obituary

Carla Rose Anderson, 39, of Hillsville, Va., passed away Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, N.C.
She was born in Manassas, Va., on Oct. 1, 1982.
She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Elmer Anderson.
In 2010, Carla received Honors in Action Academy Certification from Phi Theta Kappa of Virginia.
Carla was Deputy Clerk and Accounting Technician for Carroll County Circuit Court Clerk's Office. She was awarded Master Deputy Clerk certification with the Virginia Court Clerks Association in 2018.
Survivors include her mother, Alicia Stephens and husband, Eddie Joe, of Woodlawn, Va.; brother, Seth Greer and wife, Morgan, of Galax, Va.; sisters, Cody Moss and husband, Jeremy, of Independence, Va., and Susan McIntyre and husband, Joe of Madison, Wis.; grandmother, Mary Ann Hale of Hillsville, Va.; honorary grandpa, Fred "Sam" Greene of Hillsville, Va.; special uncle, Tony Hale and wife, Joy; special aunt, Martha McKisic and husband, Joe; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, at High Country Services beginning at 4 .pm. Gerald Goad and Joe Stephens officiated. Burial followed at Skyview Cemetery in Fancy Gap, Va. The family received friends one hour prior to the service from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m.
The care of Miss Anderson has been entrusted to High Country Services.
