Barbara Rauscher Obituary

LOWELL - Barbara Lee Rauscher, 64, of Lowell, died Dec. 11, 2008 at her residence.

She was a native of Nassau County, N.Y., daughter of the late Clarence V. and Helen Marlow Sprague.

Barbara was a member at the First ARP Church in Gastonia. She taught Yearbook at Gaston Christian School where she was also an administrative assistant for both principals at the high school and the middle school.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Rauscher of the home; son, Eric Rauscher of Dallas, Texas; daughter-in-law, Stacey Rauscher of Dallas, Texas; brother and sister-in-law: Bill and Betsy Sprague of Ill.; grandchildren, Cole and KayAnne Rauscher of Dallas, Texas.

Celebration of Life service will be 4 p.m., Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at First ARP Church, Gastonia

Visitation will be one hour before the service in the church fellowship hall.

Reverend Eddie Spencer will officiate.

Wayne, we became friends with you and Barbara during our winters in Dunedin, Florida and participating in the choir at the Kirk of Dunedin. We found both of you to be fine Christian examples and felt honoured to have known you. Please accept our sincere sympathy in your loss.
