David Nottage Obituary
A native of Gaston County, he is the son of Joe and Ruth Nottage of Gastonia.
Funeral services for David will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at Sharon Freewill Baptist Church with Revs. Odell Cook and Scott Campbell officiating.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the church.
Interment will be at Evergreen –"A Quiet Place".
David had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back. He will be dearly missed by his family.
He is survived by his parents; his daughters, Melissa Nottage of Cherryville, Kimberly Nottage of Cherryville and Stacey Nottage of Lincolnton; brothers, Joey Nottage and wife Carolyn of Clover, S.C., and Robert Nottage of Gastonia; sister, Libby Wilson and husband Ronald of Kings Mountain; and three grandchildren.

i went to church with david , and i really believed he loved god. ruth ,you and lib always played a big influence on my life as a kid.,as a young man . i always thought he was a good guy,uncle lewis always preached the word to us and i really believe he helped us.i pray for you ruth,joe, libby ,,joey and peanut.. my heart goes out tou you..love the berry nicks family

Hey Budda you are going to missed. Everytime I cook a good meal I want have no one to eat the leftovers with me. Thanks for being a good friend to my whole family Tonia-Jamie-Summer-and especially my grandson Kaleb I think he liked messing around with you. Wish we could have had longer on this earth for our friendship but we all know one day we will see you again God bless you and your family during this troubled time....
