Eric Larkin Obituary

Eric Lee Larkin, 28, of Hillcrest St., died November 28, 2015 from a suspected accidental carbon monox-ide poisoning.

He was born on Nov. 24, 1987, in Cleveland County, son of Terry Lee and Sherry Ann Erich Larkin of Cherryville. He was employed at Keystone Powdered Metal. Eric had a heart of gold and was willing to do anything to help someone in need. He had many friends in all walks of life. He found great pleasure repairing vehicles, off roading and camping with his many friends. Eric was looking forward to nothing more than being a father to his unborn son, Tucker Lee Larkin, due Jan. 3, 2016. Eric was greatly loved and will be missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his fiancée, Destyani Layine Harris of Vale; sister, Leighann Elizabeth Larkin and companion Billy Crotts of Kings Mountain; maternal grandfather, Louis Erich, of Cherryville; paternal grandmother, Marilyn Gail Larkin of Weedville, Pa.; uncle, Rick Larkin and his fian-cée, Dee Erich of Penfield, Pa.; aunt, Ruthie (Brian) Shippling of Connelly Springs; uncle, Mike (Brenda) Erich of Hildebran; aunt, Louise (Joe) Woodford of St. Mary's, Pa.; aunt, Laurie (Denny) Young of St. Mary's, Pa.; and cousins, Kristi, Shawn, Annemarie, Pierce, Rusty and Carmen.

A gathering of friends will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015, at First Presbyterian Church Fel-lowship Hall and at other times at the home.

A celebration of Eric's life will follow in the fellowship hall with Pastor Mike Collins.
