Harold Eason Obituary

GREER - Harold Deleanor Eason, 75, passed away Aug. 1, 2015, at his home from pancreatic cancer.

Born on Oct. 5, 1939, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, son of the late William Jack and Nora Mae Wil-liams Eason, he earned an Associate degree in Computer Science from Gaston College, was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, a retired employee of Wix Filters and a member of Sharon United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Lillie Jannette Owens Eason of the home; a daughter, Stephanie Ea-son Jones (Kristopher) of Boiling Springs; a brother, Bill Eason of Spartanburg; three sisters, Jean Hold-ing of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Nancy Hawkins of Mount Pleasant and Bert Talley of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina; and one grandchild, Jesse Jones.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sharon United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Bryson Williams.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sharon United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 418, Reidville, SC 29375.

A special thanks to sisters-in-law, Diane Eason that gave lots of help in the hospital and at home, and Linda Owens for her calls.

Thank Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Thanks for all the prayers to God and for those who asked for my healing. Thanks for the many cards from the many concerned.
