Charity (Ritscher) Benjamin 12/10/76 - 4/28/22

Ashfield, MA — Charity was an incredible healer and fearless leader. Her sense of adventure, athleticism, and holistic nature, combined with her ultimate ability to manifest joy, was clearly seen throughout the community she created. She was a graduate of Smith College and owner and educator at Indigo Holistic Healing Center & Tulsi Rose Healing. Charity used her positivity and drive to create healing and joy through yoga and massage and she created space for a countless number of teachings and retreats. She enjoyed building and participating in community. She loved to travel, garden, bike, hike, swim, and kayak and she found much happiness in the ocean. Trips to Hawaii with her husband and daughter were among her favorite adventures.

Charity was a proud resident of Ashfield and some of Charity's ancestors, the Sears Family, were early settlers of Ashfield. Charity continues to be held lovingly in the hearts of her grandparents G. Richard and Marcia Keller; her parents David and Gina Ritscher; her brothers Abbas and Adam Ritscher; her loving husband Martin Benjamin; and her beloved daughter Juniper Rose. Juniper is Charity's brightest shining star and Charity loved being Juni's Mama most of all.

Charity always threw the best parties. Please come celebrate the life of our dear friend with music, food, and friends this Saturday, 6/4/22 (Rain date 6/5), from 11-7pm - 64 March Rd. Shelburne Falls, MA 01370. We will celebrate potluck style so please bring food, photos, and memories to share as we celebrate the life of our beloved healer and friend.
